Romette and Julio

    Romiette and Julio is a hood verison of the book "Romeo and Juliet," by william shakespeare. Romiette and Julio is two teens living in different worlds. Julio has just moved from Corpus Christi, Texas to Cincinnati, Ohio. and is depressed about leaving his home and friends. Romiette and Julio soon become friends, find out that they go to the same school, meet up, and eventually fall in love. However, a local gang disapproves of their interracial dating as Romiette is African-American and Julio is Hispanic.
    I have read Romiette and Julio twice, i really love this book. I like it so much because people now can relate to the situations Romeiette and Julio is going through. People dont except there relationship because there different races but, they show that race doesnt matter love does.

   Statistics class with Mr. Rich is my favorite class. Math has always been my thing, a subject i just can not fail because i'm so good at it. Other people say math is hard and they hate math but, i love it. Formulas and variables are interesting to me, its like finding out a mystery of a missing number. I find math problems fun i'm always interested in to something new.

   In Mr. Rich class me are now learning z-score. Z-score is two formulas used to find the average score. I kind of like this concept because it has me think alot before i make a move. Math through out middle school and high school helped me realize  that i should spend my life being an accountant. I feel if i be an accountant i will enjoy it because math always comes easy to me.

    My Passion is for cheerleading. Iv'e been cheering since middle school and i love it. When i joined i can honestly say i sucked at at. It was kind of hard for me to switch up because i use to dance and cheerleading and hip pop dance is two different kinds of dance. In cheerleading its more of a stiffer version of dance with stronger motions.
    My biggest dream was to be in a cheerleading team in college. College team have more difficulty. It would be great to be on a college team because i feel like i'm ready for it. I'm a two year national champion. In the future i would like to be a veterinarian but i would also want to be a cheerleading couch. Teaching students my knowledge for cheering, because i want cheerleading to always be a part of my life. Cheering makes me happy and made me reason i can do what i thought i couldn't do.

  In 11th grade, I've took African american studies for an elective. My teacher Ms. Horne assigned us a book she wrote called double down. Its about two twins name Shania and Shaniqua Robinson, who takes an adventure in a crime they committed for revenge. 
  The twins Mom was a woman who felt like she needed to have a man, also she was jealous of her daughters because they looked grown enough to steal her man. He mom was sad and depressed until she got a boyfriend, not know he was a pimp and child molester. The girls wasn't the type to let anybody step over them, they ghetto fabulous. he showed signs that he wanted to do things to the girls but the mom annoyed it because she wanted to be happy.
   Until one night shania went to the bathroom and he raped her. He wasn't going to get away with it so the twins decided to plan a murder scene and chop up his body and throw it in to the river. But the twins wasnt going to get away with it either. There grandmother sent them down south to her friends house for a while until things clear up. But they were found and was charged a grownup (first degree murder). But they grandmother mailed them out so they were good.

The Class

   In class we are reading "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. Its about a man name Montag whose a fireman, his job is to start fires. So far we got up to a apart were his wife tried to kill herself. I really don't understand the book. I don't understand it because it does really catches my interest. I guess I have to read more of the book, like get to the middle to really get interested.  
   Also in class we do grammar rule. I think grammar rule is a good idea because we already know this stuff but us students forget how, or forget to use them at all. We relearned how to use possessive forms of nouns, agreement between subject and verbs, and  more concerning the possessive forms of nouns. These grammar rules can help us write better essays for college applications, and improve our personal statements.

   Hi my name is Raven and i am a competitive cheerleader.  I've been cheering since middle school and have done dance since middle and elementary school. I have a passion for dance and it brings me happiness. What also brings me happiness is animals, I want to grow up and become a vet. My number one goal is to be a vet and my second goal is to be a veterinary tech. A Veterinary tech is an other name for a nurse but for animals.

   When i'm bored i like to paint my nails. I always wanted my nails to be long and strong so i wont have to get tips(fake Nails). I'm more of a natural girl, i have natural hair, natural nails, and i don't wear makeup. Sometimes its hard; trying to go to events that i have to dress up and pretty up my face but i don't wear makeup. Its also hard for me to be natural because i break out over everything and i hardly have eyebrows, but they are growing.
    I'm more of a calm person, i don't really argue with anybody. I'm friendly. I get along with most of the people i start to talk to, i'm not rude or anything. I would say that i'm humble but i'm not sure other people might think otherwise. I am quiet but i can be loud when i want to probably at random moments when i'm bored.
